Self care isn’t selfish - this is the notion that grew Natural Balance Therapies from my part-time venture to my perfect job.

I have been a therapist for over two years, spending time with a variety of individuals looking to begin their journey into self care, others are looking for a complementary therapy to help them to manage long term, and often chronic conditions. Whatever your reason, I believe that therapies should be more than transactional, they should be time to unwind, time to find space and gain peace of mind that you are being treated by an expert who deeply understands your body.

Whilst I offer a range of treatments, each one is bespoke and tailored to you.

My therapy room is situated in the picturesque village of Carlingcott, as you make your way through the winding lanes you will get a sense of the peace being in such a rural area can offer. Upon arrival at Natural Balance Therapies you will find a therapy room nestled in a green and fruitful garden - did I mention the chorus of bird song as you meander through the garden gate towards your time of relaxation and balance.

Getting to know you and what you would like from your treatment is at the heart of what I do. We will discuss your health and your expectations for the treatment, crafting a treatment plan that is bespoke to what you need. This is not like a normal client consultation, this is about you and your journey to greater health and well-being.

The treatment itself is a time for you to find some inner calm and a peace of mind that comes from knowing the treatment you are receiving is just for you.

Whether this is a one-off treatment or we have crafted a personalised treatment plan, we will discuss how this time can translate into your life, how you can extend this self-care beyond this treatment.

As you float out of the therapy room and make your way back to ‘normal life’ with a greater sense of health and well-being, remember that self-care is not selfish.
